Samurai Katana 1060 Carbon Steel Sword Full Tang Blade

This is a very affordable Japanese Katana, designed to assist and introduce beginners to the rich world of the samurai blade arsenal. It's made from quality 1060 high carbon steel, with a double-peg, full tang to increase its stability while in use. Additionally, it undergoes a 12-step polishing process, giving it a strong mirror-like shine.

The handle, in traditional style, consists of a wooden core wrapped with rough rayskin under a tightly wound silk hineri-maki cord (wrap style). Its scabbard is sturdy wood, presented with a bright, shiny gloss adorned with white dots. Entirely brass fittings feature a samurai warrior trainee as the main motif. The blade features bohi (grooves) that reduce weight and produce a tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing). This makes it highly suitable for Iaido or cosplay if ordered unsharpened, or suitable for light-cutting tests when sharpened. The Katana can be disassembled for maintenance, and comes with a complimentary sword bag.
