Samurai Sword Clay Tempered Katana Model #13

This black and gold theme sword is Ronin Katana's Samurai Sword Model #13. Forged from 1045 steel, differentially hardened, and clay tempered, it has a hamon that becomes even more prominent after polish. The blade of the katana is secured to the tsuka (handle) with double pins for added stability.

Equipped with zinc alloy koshirae (fittings), the tsuba (guard), fuchi (hilt collar), kashira (pommel cap), and menuki (decorative hilt ornaments) accentuates the look of the sword gives it an elegant and distinguished appearance. The tsuka is covered with real same (rayskin) and wrapped with cotton ito (handle wrap). This beautiful katana is complemented with a lacquered wood saya (scabbard) and cotton sageo (carrying cord).
