Another Entry Level Katana by Ronin Katana is their Model #6, forged from 1045 steel and differentially hardened. This attractive katana with a hamon (temper line) has a blade secured to the handle by two pins to ensure it remains sturdy with use.

Equipped with zinc alloy koshirae (fittings), the tsuba (guard), fuchi (hilt collar), kashira (pommel cap), and menuki (decorative ornaments) add an elegant touch to the aesthetics of the katana. The tsuka is wrapped in genuine white same (rayskin) and the tsukamaki uses black cotton ito (handle wrap). The overall look of the sword is completed with a glossy black saya and cotton sageo (carrying cord).
