Scratch and Dent Dojo Pro 1060 Steel Tanto #5

The scratch and dent version of Ronin Katana's Dojo Pro Tanto #5 is discounted due to rust, dents, dents, or chips that may be found on the dagger. Despite these minor imperfections, the tanto remains just as safe and efficient for cutting.

This tanto is forged from 1060 steel and through hardened. It is mounted in the Hamidashi style which features a small tsuba (guard) that is slightly larger than the hilt. Its design includes a gold colored habaki (blade collar), seppa (washer), and menuki (decorative ornament) along with a fuchi kashira (hilt collar and pommel cap) that has unique motifs. The blade also has a hi (groove) that helps to lighten the overall weight of the tanto and improves its point of balance.

First inlaid with white same (rayskin), the tsuka (handle) is then wrapped with black tsuka ito (handle wrap) in a tight tsukamaki to give it a comfortable and sturdy grip. This dagger also comes with a simple black glossy saya (scabbard) that is lacquered. A black sageo (carrying cord) is attached to the kurigata (knob for sageo).
