Katana 1060 Carbon Steel Sword Sea Dragon Blade

The Katana is fashioned from 1060 high carbon steel, hand-polished to a mirror shine, oil-quenched, and heat-treated to achieve ideal hardness.

Its core color is blue, reflecting the representation of the sea dragon on the silk hineri-maki (cord style) wrap over blue rayskin. The scabbard, also blue, is wooden, covered with bright gloss. Made from alloy, the fittings each incorporate the symbol of the Japanese dragon. The blade is double-pegged for security and features double bohi (grooves) to enhance handling and produce a tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing) when used.
