Shi Katana Death Skull Guard

The Shi Katana, blacker than the darkest night and more lethal than death itself, represents the apex of the katana's purpose when pushed to its ultimate limit. When worn in the traditional manner, the flash of the black skull-shaped tsuba (guard) and kanji-embossed fuchi-kashira (pommel) serve as a stern warning to potential adversaries: to challenge this warrior is to invite one's own end.

The 11 1/2" tsuka (handle) flaunts a monochromatic design with its black tsuka-ito (handle wrap) and same (ray skin), highlighted by the triad of silver skull menuki. Complementing the 28" forged steel blade are a silver habaki (blade collar) and seppa (spacers). This fierce weapon rests in a hand-carved, textured matte black saya (scabbard), fitted with a buffalo horn kurikata (knob) and black sageo (cord).
