Ninjato T10 Steel Sword Short Shinobigatana

The ninjato was once used by ninjas as a utilitarian tool and weapon. Today, these sword techniques are preserved by modern day ninjas who train with live blades, just like this Classic Ninjato or Shinobi-gatana forged from T10 steel that is durable enough for real use. Differentially hardened, clay tempered, and cosmetically polished by hand, the full tang blade has an attractive hamon. Depending on one's preferences, it can come with or without a bohi (fuller) that functions to lighten the weight of the sword.

The tsuka (handle) is covered with white or black same (rayskin) along with tight and geometrical tsukamaki (katatemaki - battle ready or hinerimaki - basic wrap) with hishigami using black synthetic leather or silk tsuka ito (handle wrap). The package is complete with iron fittings and flat black saya (scabbard) with high quality thick sageo (hanging cord).
