Katana T10 Steel Sword Clay Tempered Iron Tsuba Samurai

This is a Japanese samurai Katana sword, featuring a general black and very dark motif that could associate it with the mysterious ninja or a silent samurai lurking in the darkness. It is made from the very sturdy and reliable T10 high carbon steel, crafted in a hira-zukuri blade shape that excels in cutting practice. The blade has been traditionally clay-tempered to generate a genuine hamon, while achieving optimal hardness through polishing and quenching.

The tang is double-pegged for additional security during slashing motions, featuring a rayskin/tsuka-maki wrapped handle that facilitates a stronger tip. The hardwood scabbard is lacquered for a brighter reflection, with each fitting made from high-quality iron, copper, and brass. The blade has no bohi (grooves), enhancing its impact if used for functional cutting practice when sharpened; otherwise, it can remain unsharpened for safe Iaido usage or be used as a decorative piece.
