Tamahagane is a pure form of steel, containing minimal impurities such as silicon and manganese. It was developed by Japanese swordsmiths to produce various blades for the katana, tanto, wakizashi, and more. Although its production is complex, it is ideal for combat swords due to its strength and durability, producing a hard and sharp edge that resists dulling.

Z-Sey's tamahagane katana blade is produced using traditional forging methods to achieve exceptional functionality and aesthetics. Differentially hardened, clay tempered, and polished to reveal a beautiful suguha (straight) hamon, the blade can be mounted with various koshirae based on one's personal preferences.
