Katana T10 Steel Sword Toran Hamon Musashi

Paying homage to Miyamoto Musashi, one of the most famous swordsperson in history, this Musashi Katana is forged from T10 steel and features a toran (surging waves) hamon that is accentuated by the cosmetic polish. The added bohi (fuller) gives the katana a lighter weight, better balance, and faster drawing speed to produce the proper sounding hasuji (path travelled by the blade). Additionally, the geometric yokote allows the impact on the kissaki (blade tip) to be dissipated during use.

Faithful to the original Musashi, right down to the famous double ring iron tsuba (guard), this katana also has a full tang blade is double pegged to the tsuka (handle) for added stability. The handle is then covered with authentic same (rayskin) while the tsukamaki with hishigami uses black cotton ito (handle wrap) for a tight and comfortable grip. Completing the design of this beautiful blade are the brass fittings and black glossy saya with horn fittings.
