Tourney Viking Sword – Blunt for Sparring

Our Tourney Series Sparring and Stage Swords from Kingston Arms redefine the standard in re-enactment weaponry at this price point. With features like thru-tang handle construction, peened stainless steel pommel and guard, and a 2mm rounded edge thickness, these swords are formidable on the battlefield. The cord-wrapped leather grip offers an exceptional feel with an oval cross section and slight barrel shape to combat fatigue. 

Accommodating armored hands comfortably, the grip is complemented by a respectable fuller for improved balance. Each sword includes a wood core and leather-wrapped scabbard with a stainless chape. The Viking Sword and Single-hand Swords are the initial Tourney Series models, with more to come.

Forged from 9260 spring steel, the blades are tempered to around 50 Hrc for lasting durability. Notably, the guard features the King-Peen system, securing it through the tang without compromising hilt strength. The pommel is pressed and hot peened, resulting in a sword that rings like a bell upon impact.
