Throughout the early Middle Ages, this versatile tool was employed by Saxons, Angles, Germans, and Scandinavians—popularly known today as Vikings. From wealthy nobles to humble farmers, it was a common sight in everyday life and battles. This magnificently adorned replica is based on a museum Seax, epitomizing the grandeur of a Viking noble warlord.

Crafted from 1055 high carbon steel, this sword offers a one-handed wooden handle for a secure grasp. The brass fittings adorning the accurate Viking lobed pommel, the very short handguard, and the tacks across the hilt accentuate its aesthetic appeal.
