The Walking Dead Katana Michonne’s Zombie Killer Kobuse Sword

This Japanese Katana sword is inspired by the bladed weapon used by the legendary character Michonne in The Walking Dead series. Despite its movie origin, the sword is notably functional. Made through a gyaku-kobuse (two-steel layer) method, it proudly flaunts a rigid 1095 high carbon steel core and a stunning Damascus Steel outer layer to highlight its mystical patterns.

The blade is full-tang and double-pegged, contributing to its enhanced stability. It is hazuya stone polished for shine and features a genuine clay temper for a harder edge than the spine. The design includes a shinogi-zukuri (blade shape) edge with a thicker spine that enhances cutting power, and lacks a bohi (groove) to add weight and aid cutting efficiency. The handle is covered with a rayskin leather tsuka-maki cord wrap that improves the grip. It also comes with a sturdy hardwood scabbard, encased in a leather wrap and belt. The alloy and brass fittings complete the sword. Depending on your needs, the sword can be sharpened for tameshigiri or unsharpened for cosplay purposes.
