Zatoichi Ninjato Shirasaya Damascus Blade

This is a Chokuto straight Japanese sword, paying respects to the legendary blind swordsman named Zatoichi. These blades were some of the earliest single-edged swords in the Japanese arsenal and are shrouded in legends as the beloved weapons of the legendary ninja. This particular sword adopts a shirasaya format, offering a stealthy approach without a tsuba (handguard), allowing for fast concealed strikes and better blade safety.

Forged out of Damascus Steel that's been folded multiple times, the blade metal produces many vibrant, lively patterns dancing across its length. The blade, treated by oil-quenching and heat, features a bohi (fuller) for assistance when used for slashing. The handle and scabbard are quality hardwood, with fittings made of brass.
